FW8FT - Fireworks 8: Fast Track
This course teaches the fundamental features and functions of Fireworks 8. Students will learn how to design and refine graphics for the Web. They will learn how to create and manipulate vector shapes, apply colors and styles, create and modify text, and optimize and export graphics. Students will get the most out of this course if they are familiar with basic Web concepts but have no prior experience with Fireworks.
This course also builds on the skills and concepts taught in Fireworks 8: Basic. Students will learn how to create complex shapes and paths; work with layers, grids, and masks; create styles and graphic symbols; and use advanced techniques for adjusting and retouching images. They will also create interactive graphics (buttons, rollovers, pop-up menus, and image maps) and build and modify animations. Finally, they will learn how to boost efficiency by using the Find and History panels, running batch processes and scripts, and creating custom keyboard shortcuts.
